What a fun fall day for our Nursery students! Our youngest explorers enjoyed a wonderful trip to Heritage Farm and Garden today, where they met ducks, chickens, goats, donkeys, and pigs, decorated their very own pumpkin, enjoyed a snack, and had plenty of time to play! 5 Questions with Ms. Gina Horton Last week, our school counselor Ms. Horton led an inspiring assembly on what it means to have courage. Now in her second year at BCDS, she supports students in both our Lower and Upper Schools.Before joining us, she spent more than 30 years at Herricks Middle School as a counselor, Guidance Chair, and Assistant Principal. Buckley sixth graders brought Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko to life with amazing shirt designs highlighting the most significant aspects of Moose Flanagan’s life on Alcatraz. Each project—even real shirts they created themselves—showed a unique understanding of this popular, award-winning novel. What a fun way to turn summer reading into something anyone can see, share—and wear!What was the best thing you read this summer?
