Kelsey Gibson ’06 Finds Purpose in Pediatrics

Buckley alumna Kelsey Gibson ’06 is pursuing her passion for science, service, and compassionate care as a pediatric resident at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Inspired in part by her own experience living with Type 1 Diabetes, Kelsey hopes to specialize in pediatric endocrinology and support young patients navigating similar challenges.

In her alumni reflection, Kelsey shares how Buckley fostered the teamwork, resilience, curiosity, and sense of purpose that continue to guide her—both in medicine and in life.
