I took part in Prep for Prep’s Institute for Entrepreneurship, a six-week program that helps students in New York City learn how to design and launch a business. During the program, we worked with professionals from Google, Cambio Labs, a nonprofit that trains young people in social entrepreneurship, Centerbridge Partners, a private equity and investment management firm, and The Raine Group, a global investment firm focused on technology, media, and sports. They provided valuable insights on building a business, both on the financial and technological side. The program concluded with a pitch competition at Google’s headquarters. My team, Endeavor, presented an online educational software designed to support autistic children by adapting to their individual learning styles and math levels. We placed second in the competition and won a $1,000 prize!”
