Eleven Buckley Students Win Writing Awards

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, eleven Buckley students were recognized by the Nassau Reading Council as top performers in the Young Authors Contest. 

Each winning writer read their story to the entire audience and received special recognition at the ceremony. They were:

Holden Province, Second Grade
Taylor Rose, Second Grade
Olivia Prescott-Szitanyi, Third Grade
Benjamin John, Fourth Grade

Alyssa Sugiyama, Seventh Grade
Liam O'Sullivan, Eighth Grade
