Life After Buckley

Applying to Secondary School

Buckley Country Day School provides a strong foundation for students as they transition from middle school to high school. Our comprehensive exmission program guides students through every step of the high school application process, helping them navigate the competitive landscape of elite high schools in the Northeast. With personalized, one-on-one counseling and interview practice with the Head of School, test preparation, and tailored advice, we support students in highlighting their unique strengths and accomplishments. Our goal is to ensure that each student is well-prepared, confident, and positioned for success as they embark on the next chapter of their academic journey.

In addition to personalized coaching and school selection, Buckley offers a written manual to guide Buckley families through the secondary school placement process. Buckley has as one of its main objectives the successful secondary school placement of its graduates. The overall purpose of the secondary school placement process is to identify schools that meet the individual goals of eighth graders and their families and provide them with close guidance and support.
