The Muran Theatre
As the school's primary performance and gathering space, The Muran Theatre welcomes every member of the Buckley community to enjoy music, dance, theatre, and a variety of cultural celebrations each year. In addition to performances, Buckley's weekly assembly programs take place in the space, including each 8th grade speech delivered by every member of the graduating class throughout the year.

The Children's Garden and Early Childhood Playground
The Children's Garden opened in the Fall of 2014 thanks to a generous gift from Paul Vambutas '82, P '24 and his family, and features an outdoor amphitheater, stone labyrinth, and tricycle track. The space was updated in 2023 with the construction of a natural wood playground and climbers for Buckley's youngest students to explore.

The Centennial Garden
The Centennial Garden opened in the spring of 2024 after a two-year design and construction process. The landmark commemorating the school's 100th year of serving students and families on Long Island, it features bricks displaying the names of donors who contributed to the Centennial Celebration in 2023. Bricks also tell the story of major Buckley milestones over the school's first century, such as the year Red and Blue teams were established,

The Pond
Buckley's pond is situated on the southwest side of the building, and can be viewed from The Hagedorn Library Learning Center wing where 5/6 humanities classes take place, and where our Nursery classrooms are located. Fully fenced, the pond is used throughout the summer by Buckley Day Camp and for school events like birthday parties and Senior Fun Day in the spring. Buckley science classes often visit the pond to observe nature and learn more about the plants, animals, and insects make their home on our campus habitat.

The Memorial Garden
The Memorial Garden is a space for quiet reflection, memorializing members of the Buckley community who have passed on. Among the brick pathways visitors will find the names Buckley alumni, faculty, and family members, including memorials to the Buckley parents who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

The Bus Circle
The Bus Circle is a thoughtfully designed space that ensures a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal process for students who travel by bus and by car. Located on the south end of campus, the bus circle streamlines transportation and provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for students as they begin and end each day at Buckley.
