Buckley Cross Country Shines in Team Victory

The Buckley cross-country team delivered a stellar performance at their meet on Tuesday, October 1, with nearly 100 runners from four schools competing. Buckley's athletes claimed top spots in the standings, leading the team to an impressive first-place finish.

Caden N. ’25 led the charge, placing 2nd overall, followed by Mark S. ’27 in 4th, Marcus M. ’26 in 6th, and Mark C. ’25 in 9th. Gabriel B. ’28 rounded out the top 12.

On the girls' side, Emma S. ’27 was the top Buckley finisher, securing a spot in the top 3 overall, followed by Ava L. '27 in 7th, Emma R. '25 in 8th, Alyssa 'S '25 in 11th, Olivia W. '27 in 13th, and Gabriella C. '27 in 15th. Maddie B. '28 rounded out the top 19.

The event was marked by incredible support from the Buckley community, with parents cheering from the sidelines. "It was truly an amazing day! I was quite overwhelmed by the outpouring love from everybody," shared a Buckley Athletic Director and dad, Brian Boyle.
