A non-refundable deposit of $2,400 toward students’ tuition is required with signed contracts in order to ensure space for the coming year. The school offers two options for payment of the remaining tuition balance.
Option A: Payment to satisfy 70% of total tuition on or before August 15th of the enrollment year with payment to satisfy the 30% balance on or before December 15th of that same year.
Option B: Payment on an installment basis administered through Blackbaud Tuition Management.

Rates are per session, with three sessions per school year – Fall, Winter & Spring.
Tuition Includes:
- lunch
- day trips
- use of school technology, such as Chromebooks
- athletic uniforms and equipment
- textbooks and yearbook
- 7th-8th grade overnight Leadership Orientation Trips
- secondary school placement and graduation costs
Tuition Does Not Include:
- instruction in band, guitar, and piano
Financial Aid
Buckley offers financial aid based on demonstrated need beginning in Nursery. Requests for assistance do not affect admissions decisions or a current student’s place in the school community. All financial information is held in the strictest confidence.
Buckley uses Clarity to process financial aid applications and help determine need. Based on the financial information you submit, Clarity will report to us an estimated amount your family can contribute towards tuition. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions.

We recognize that an independent school education is both a powerful investment in your child’s future as well as a considerable financial commitment. The purpose of our financial aid program is to fill the gap between the actual cost of a year’s tuition and what a family can realistically afford to pay toward this cost. The Financial Aid Committee awards grants to families who demonstrate financial need as determined by Clarity, which provides a streamlined and user-friendly financial aid application process that can take as few as twenty minutes to complete.

To begin your application for the 2025-26 school year, please note the following timeline:
Clarity applications are due no later than December 15, 2024
Separated or divorced parents must each submit an application, if filing individual tax returns.
We recognize that a families’ financial circumstances are personal and unique; the BCDS Financial Aid Committee uses the Clarity evaluation as the basis for review. Discussion and financial statements held by the Financial Aid Committee are strictly confidential. Families who violate the confidentiality agreement may immediately risk their grant.
All awards are conditional upon the review of required documents. Late applications for aid may not be considered and are subject to availability of funds.
