Third Graders Dazzle in Frozen

The third grade Class of 2030 took center stage in Frozen The Musical, delighting a packed house in The Muran Theatre at Buckley Country Day School. Proud parents, fellow students, faculty, and staff filled the audience, captivated by the young performers’ energy and enthusiasm as they brought the beloved Disney tale to life.

Directed by Ms. Lexi Dolores, the production showcased the talents of every third grade student, with support from teachers Mrs. Tara Dossena and Mrs. Kathryn Downing, and Music Director Dr. Elizabeth Glennon. Ms. Soyoung Chun, Buckley’s piano ensemble teacher, provided expert accompaniment, creating a rich musical experience that infused the production with professional polish.

Adding to the behind-the-scenes magic, Upper School students lent their expertise in lighting, sound, and stagecraft, applying their technical theatre skills to ensure the show’s success.

From the opening number to the final bow, the production of Frozen The Musical was a joyful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the vibrant role of performing arts in the Buckley experience.
