Alumni Families and Faculty Reunite in NYC

In a celebration of shared memories and accomplishments, alumni from across the years gathered at the iconic Kahlo restaurant in New York City for Buckley Country Day School's annual Alumni Family and Faculty Gathering held each February.
Kahlo, known for its vibrant atmosphere and delectable Mexican cuisine, provided the perfect backdrop for BCDS alumni, their families, faculty, and staff to reconnect, reminisce, and create new memories. The event was a testament to the enduring bonds formed during their academic journeys, hosting graduates and families from the 1950s to the 2010s. Laughter echoed as old friends exchanged updates on their lives and careers.
The evening was not only a reunion but also an opportunity for networking and collaboration. Attendees discovered common interests, shared insights, and even discussed potential collaborations in their respective professional fields.
The event concluded with a toast to the enduring spirit of the alumni community and the memories forged at their alma mater by Buckley’s Assistant Director of Development for Alumni Engagement and Annual Fund, Holly O’Brien. As attendees left with full hearts, satisfied palates, and two raffle baskets of Buckley gear, the reunion at Kahlo was hailed as a resounding success, leaving everyone eager for the next gathering.
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2024 event, and our sincere gratitude goes out to Paula and Fernando Lopez P ’23, ’32 and the entire team at Kahlo for hosting the Buckley Community for another beautiful annual gathering!
